I’m creating this Morocco Working Group to centralize and coordinate all research, scientific updates, and ongoing projects related to Cannabis and Hemp in Morocco.
The goal is to build a structured knowledge base around:
Medical cannabis research (therapeutic applications, clinical perspectives, formulation)
Industrial hemp research (fiber, seeds, oil, biochar, biomaterials)
Genetics & breeding programs (landraces, stabilization, triploids, seedless production)
Agronomy & GACP compliance (soil, irrigation, contaminants, phytoremediation)
Extraction & processing methods (full spectrum, solventless, CO2, GMP readiness)
Quality control & lab analytics (COA, contaminants, stability, ISO frameworks)
Regulatory framework (ANRAC, ONSSA, export requirements, EU-GMP pathway)
Traceability & digital systems (seed-to-sale, batch control, data interoperability)
